Rain Tamer
Our Company

An Oklahoma company built around one job.

Keeping water away from the house. Rain Tamer was founded in 2011 in Oklahoma City. Since then we've installed gutter and drainage systems on thousands of homes and commercial properties across the metro.

We're privately owned. We answer our own phones. We've turned down jobs we couldn't do right, and we've taken on work the big guys wouldn't touch. Same crews, same standards, the same install rules we wrote down on day one.

01Our story

We started Rain Tamer because the gutter work we kept seeing on Oklahoma homes wasn't worthy of the homes themselves. Crooked runs, exposed straps, prefab miters that pull apart in two seasons. We knew it could be done better.

Today, our crews install seamless gutters, French drains, and gutter guards across the OKC metro using a standard we wrote down and refuse to deviate from. Every install gets hidden hangers every two feet, hand-mitered corners, formed outlet tubes, and a positive pitch to the nearest downspout on every run. It's slower than the truck-and-ladder competition, and we like it that way.

We're licensed, insured, and based in Oklahoma City. Most of our work comes from referrals and from neighbors who watched the install next door. That tells us we're doing it right.

02What we stand for
Four rules we run on

The shortcuts we won't take.

The construction trades have a reputation for a reason. We built Rain Tamer to be the company we couldn't find when we needed someone to do this work on our own homes.

  1. 01

    Specs over shortcuts

Hidden hangers every 24 inches. Hand-mitered corners. Outlet tubes at every downspout. Every gutter pitched to drain to the nearest downspout — never level. None of this is optional, on any install.

  2. 02

    Pricing in writing

Our estimates are fixed. Whatever number you sign is what you pay. No day-of changes, no surprise scope, no whittling the bill down to the bone and bolting on extras later.

  3. 03

    Crews that show up

We schedule the day, we hit the day. If the weather pushes us, you hear from us before you hear from the radar. Our installers have been here three, five, ten years. They know the work.

  4. 04

    Warranty we honor

Lifetime workmanship for the original homeowner. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come fix it. We're still here, still in Oklahoma City, still answering the phone.

03Crews & equipment
The team behind the install

Real crews. Real trucks.

Six crews in the field, run by lead installers with an average tenure of six years. Fifteen fleet trucks. Ten Knudson gutter machines so we form aluminum on site to the exact length your home needs. A 13,000 square foot warehouse with every painted color in stock.

When you call, you talk to the person who will quote you. When the crew arrives, they're wearing Rain Tamer shirts, not whatever subcontractor we could borrow that morning. Every truck, every crew, every install: same company.

02Install Standards
The Rain Tamer Standard v2026

Six rules we never break.

The labor on a gutter install is mostly invisible once it's done. These are the details we never let slide, on every job, on every home.

  1. 01

Internal Support Hangers, Spaced Every 24"

Hidden hangers tie the gutter to the fascia twice as often as the industry-standard 36". Twice the support, half the sag, no exposed straps over the front face.

  2. 02

    Hand-Mitered & Riveted Corners

Inside and outside corners are cut and folded by hand on site, then riveted and sealed. No prefab strip miters that pull apart over a few seasons.

  3. 03

    Riveted Downspouts

Every downspout joint and elbow is fastened with stainless rivets, not screws. Rivets stay tight when the metal expands and contracts.

  4. 04

    Outlet Tubes at Every Downspout

We install a formed outlet tube at every drop, not a punched hole. Outlets create unrestricted flow and prevent the choke point that causes overflow.

  5. 05

    Pitched to Drain, Every Run

Every gutter is pitched to drain to the nearest downspout. Gutters that are hung level will never function properly and cause a multitude of issues down the road.

  6. 06

    100% Polyurethane Sealant

We seal corners and end caps with 100% polyurethane only. It bonds to aluminum, stays flexible, and outlasts the silicone the cheap installs use.

What customers say

The proof is in the install.

Most of our business comes from referrals and from neighbors who watched the install next door. Here's what they've written about us, in their own words.

We don't pay for reviews, we don't filter them, and we don't pick our favorites. Every quote on this page is from a real Rain Tamer customer.

Crew showed up exactly when they said they would, finished a full house wrap and downspout reroute in one day, and left the yard cleaner than they found it. The miter corners look like jewelry.
Megan H.Edmond · Seamless Gutters

I had three companies bid copper half round on a 1939 brick home. Rain Tamer was the only one who walked the roof first. The finished install is the best work that's been done on…

Nichols Hills · Half Round Copper Gutters

Our basement flooded twice in two springs. Rain Tamer mapped the lot grade, sized a French drain to actually move the water, and ran it to daylight at the back fence. Two storms…

Norman · French Drain

Three big oaks behind the house meant cleaning gutters every six weeks. The micromesh guards have been on for a full season now and I haven't been on a ladder once.
